From the on-site display, the two-tone body exudes a commanding presence, and the overall dimensions are notably substantial. The new model is set to officially begin pre-sales on April 22. The core highlights of the new vehicle lie in comprehensive upgrades across exterior, dimensions, intelligent driving, chassis, and powertrain, adding multiple luxury features and practical functions, while offering both extended-range and pure electric powertrain versions. In terms of exterior design, the new AITO M9 builds on the family design language with refined optimizations, incorporating more youthful and tech-forward elements, enhancing both texture and brand recognition. The new model introduces several exclusive color options, including Wangshu Apricot, Amber Brown, and Truffle Brown, catering to diverse user preferences. It features semi-concealed door handles, expected to adopt the same starlight design as the Zunjie S800, delivering a light-and-shadow ceremonial effect upon unlocking, which not only reduces wind resistance but also further elevates the vehicle's refinement. The integrated through-type light bar spans the front and rear, with smooth and soft lines when illuminated, paired with newly styled wheels and added chrome trim on the front fascia, creating a more striking visual impact and showcasing the flagship model's luxurious presence. Body dimensions

The dimensions have been comprehensively upgraded. The new AITO M9 measures 5285/2026/1845mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase reaching 3125mm. Compared to the current model, the length has increased by 55mm, width by 27mm, height by 45mm, and wheelbase by 15mm. Alongside the full dimensional upgrade, it offers two layout options—5-door 5-seat and 5-door 6-seat—further expanding interior space and enhancing ride comfort and practicality.

In terms of intelligent driving, the new model has undergone a major upgrade, featuring for the first time 6 LiDAR units (including an 896-line LiDAR). Combined with LiDAR-vision fusion perception technology, it achieves 360° obstacle-free environmental awareness, enabling precise detection of smaller low-lying blind spots as well as longer-range and more accurate distance recognition. It also possesses the ability to predict potholes on unpaved roads, significantly improving perception accuracy, redundancy, and environmental adaptability under complex road conditions. Notably, the new model adds side cameras on the C-pillars, further refining the fusion perception system to provide more comprehensive recognition of the lateral environment and effectively reduce side-collision risks. Additionally, the new model will be upgraded across all trims to the Huawei ADS 4.0 intelligent driving system in the future, unlocking more advanced driving functions. Combined with the newly added 4D millimeter-wave radar, it performs reliably in rain,

In harsh weather conditions such as fog and dust, it maintains high-precision perception while supporting autonomous and seamless passage through campus barriers, roundabouts, and ETC, as well as cross-floor valet parking and other functions, delivering a "from parking space to parking space" full-process intelligent driving experience.

In terms of powertrain, the new AITO M9 continues to offer both pure electric and extended-range versions, both equipped with the latest generation of CATL batteries, while optimizing power parameters to achieve dual improvements in performance and range. The extended-range version offers two battery pack options of 60.014kWh and 75.408kWh, featuring a 1.5T engine paired with a dual-motor powertrain. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power of 118kW, the front motor 220kW, and the rear motor 277kW, representing a significant power boost over the current model, with low fuel consumption in depleted battery mode reaching as low as 6.9L/100km. The declared WLTC pure electric range covers six versions: 250km, 255km, 265km, 315km, 320km, and 335km, with a maximum combined range of up to 1474km, thoroughly alleviating range anxiety. The pure electric version is equipped with a 120kWh battery pack, with a declared CLTC pure electric range of 628km, also featuring a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with both front and rear motors delivering a maximum power of 22

0kW and 277kW deliver robust power output, paired with an electric vehicle single-speed transmission for a smooth driving experience.

In terms of the chassis, the new AITO M9 achieves a comprehensive overhaul of both software and hardware, becoming the first model under Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) to feature fully active suspension—one of its core differences from the current model. This fully active suspension is fundamentally distinct from traditional semi-active systems: it is equipped with independent actuators that actively output force to adjust suspension stiffness and damping, rather than passively adapting to road conditions. It also integrates preview recognition technology, enabling it to actively sense road conditions ahead, anticipate and adjust suspension states in advance—softening to absorb vibrations on rough roads and stiffening to reduce body roll during sharp turns, perfectly balancing comfort and handling. Additionally, the chassis incorporates innovations such as active control and steer-by-wire technology, retains the all-aluminum chassis architecture, and pairs it with intelligent closed air springs and CDC variable-damping shock absorbers, further enhancing dynamic response precision and ride quality.
